St. Thomas Public Library Mission

Hours of Operation

St. Thomas Public Library is open to the general public during the following hours :

Monday to Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sundays - Closed

Library Directory

Lower Level:

Administrative offices; Technical Services; Circulation and Adult Services work areas; meeting rooms; drinking fountain and washrooms

Main Floor:

Adult book collection, library card registration desk, book return and check-out, catalogue, newspapers and magazines, audio-visual service, public Internet access, information desk, reference materials, pamphlets, government publications and maps.
Lobby: Pay telephone, vending machines and community bulletin board.

Upper Level:

West: George Thorman Room - Local History Collection
East:Children's and Teens' Services Department. Materials and services similar to those offered by the Adult Department but selected for children and teens.

AN ELEVATOR IS LOCATED BEHIND THE BOOK RETURN DESK

Library Board 2006 - 2010

Library Board meetings are held from September to June on the third Wednesday of the month at 4:15 pm, in the Carnegie Room. Public welcome.

From 401
Exit Wellington Road South
Follow approx. 20km to the traffic lights at Talbot Street (Col. Talbot Rd.)
Turn Left on to Talbot Street
Turn Left at the first traffic lights on Talbot Street (St. George Street)
Turn Right at the next street (Curtis Street)
Follow Curtis Street approx. 5 blocks
The library is located at the corner of Curtis and Mondamin Streets
